It's our small nuances and routines that keep us centered and feeling as though we are in control of our existence, now whether or not there's any truth to that is one of life's greatest debates. However, when we come to know people at more intimate levels their rituals may seem indulgent, particularity if they impact on yours. When we're youthful anything goes, but once we've weathered a few of life's storms the dividing line between comfort and need all but dissolves, just as the coffee does swirling in your cup.
When doing things for your self is effortless, life is good. You drink when and what you want, you eat, shower, fuss over your wardrobe, pull books from shelves, move chairs, sweep the floor, whatever comes to mind. Then slowly more and more the “I'll do it's” fall away from the grasp of you ability. You know you are slipping and there's little you can do to alter this position. I liken this experience to sheering a sheep at the start of a fierce winter. The timing is wrong. Life begins to get small; food for thought.
In the meantime back to my comfort drink. I've decided to switch my morning pleasure to an X-tall-double-late`! Indulge in life, the timing is right …now.
