Leaving home to travel when you have health concerns, or feel the pangs of aging is difficult unless you can be certain about what to expect when you arrive at your destination. The thought of unexpected surprises during a vacation can override a desire to travel, people need their comforts. It would be terribly disappointing to wait until retirement to take the time to travel only to find you've lost your urge to explore and prefer comfort over adventure.
